Marica Restaurant was opened in May of 2000 named after the Greek water goddess / sprite "Marika". Post graduation from UC Santa Cruz Marica was struggling financially and was up for sale. While trying to find buyers, it gave me a great opportunity utilize my new business degree, understand small businesses, cost control, learn management, and execute new strategies while helping my family.
